This product is an N-acetylated derivative of cysteine, containing sulfhydryl group in the molecule, which can break the disulfide bond (- S-S -) of mucin peptide bond, thus making mucin chain become small molecular peptide chain, reducing the viscosity of mucin. Therefore, this product is a dissolving drug for mucus, purulent sputum and respiratory mucus.
