The specific gravity is 0.954-0.964, and the melting point is 62-67 ℃. Some studies have found that beeswax can be dissolved in benzene, toluene, chloroform and other organic solvents, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in water, but under certain conditions, beeswax can form emulsion with water. Its main components are: acids, free fatty acids, free fatty alcohols and carbohydrates. In addition, there are carotenoids, vitamin A, aromatic substances. Beeswax is widely used in industry and agriculture. In the cosmetics industry, many beauty products contain beeswax, such as bath solution, lipstick, rouge, etc. |
